Life is Strange.

In The Midst of It

Robin Power’s work refuses the distance of safe observation. It does not ask to be admired from afar — it demands to be felt. Emerging from the chaos, fragility, and resilience of life as it’s being lived, her pieces carry the weight of what it means to move through the world awake, unfinished, and in motion.

In the Midst of It invites us to step directly into that tension — where fracture meets form, where beauty doesn’t erase struggle but rises from it.

Opening October 4th, 2025 at The Strange & Unusual Gallery, this exhibition is a call to presence. It reminds us that we are never outside of history, never apart from the forces that shape us, and never far from the possibility of transformation.

We are, always, in the midst of it.

Opens to the public Saturday, October 4th and runs through October 18th, 2025

Saturday, October 4th – 1pm – 5pm

Friday, October 10th – 6pm – 8pm

Saturday, October 11th – 1pm – 4pm

Friday, October 17th – By appointment only

Saturday, October 18th – 3pm – 6pm (pick up of pieces and close of show)

Bold. Earthbound. Unapologetically raw.

Robin’s ceramics fuse form and feeling – each piece a tactile story shaped in clay.

The work holds space, commands presence, and speaks in silence.

Robin’s work is nothing short of stunning – organic, raw, and deeply intentional. Each piece feels like a quiet revelation, capturing both fragility and resilience. There is a meditative depth to her vision that stays with you long after you have left the gallery.

Don’t miss out on this show – you need ART more than ever now!
