Erik Ohrn is an artist that currently lives and works in Joliet, Illinois with an emphasis in painting and drawing. He originally is from Moline, Illinois where his interest in art and drawing began at an early age. After graduating from High School he attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and earned a BFA in painting in 2006. Since then his work has been shown and highlighted in a wide range of exhibitions and spaces.
Statement
Thoughts and feelings are constantly coming and going, swiftly slipping by and out of reach. I am driven to latch onto these fleeting moments with hopes to capture something meaningful.
