TERRY EASTHAM

Getting to know our Renaissance Man Extraordinaire

Just your average guy about 5 foot 8ish, 175lbs, dirty brown balding head of hair with two eyes that I’m not sure the color of and I have a lot of freckles. I am a full time left handed person, but on occasions I wave with my right hand (depending the direction of the oncoming wave) so I guess this makes me ambidextrous; which I think is super cool, not too many people are you know.

Seriously, I really don’t think of myself as an artist at all; I just like to rework things and/or build items from scratch with salvage or recycled materials. I have worked in the building trades since the early 90’s therefore remnants of different material have always been accessible to me. I grew up in the 70’s and by the 80’s I was repurposing things I had found or was given.   I took art classes throughout my grade school years and in high school I was able to take carpentry classes which later helped me to understand building with different materials. I find satisfaction in items being reused and repurposed. Typically, I make things I really don’t want to buy, why buy it if I can make it.
